The sixth edition of the Talented Young Italians Award, that took place on 28th November at the Church House Conference of Westminster, aims to bring to the public attention Italian “young talents” who have succeeded, here in the UK, in their professional environments. A pool of judges awarded nine candidates in four different categories:

- Industry and Commerce
- Finance and Services
- Research and Innovation
- Media and Communication

This edition’s award winners are, for the category of for the category of Media and Communication: Luca Casiraghi, Reporter on credit in London –Team Leader for Distressed Debt in Europe and Alessia Pirolo, Head of NPL Coverage at Debtwire; for the category Finance and Services: Marco Boldini, Head of Financial Services Regulatory – Legal PwC, and Stefano Vaccino, Founder and CEO atYapily; for the category Research and Innovation: Giuseppe Bianchi Research Fellow and Project Manager e Paolo Taticchi Principal Teaching Fellow in Management and Sustainability (professorial)&Executive Director of Global Student Experience at Imperial College Business School; for the category Industry and Commerce Francesca Boccolini Co-founder of SonicJobs, Isabella Federico, CEO of WeBizz and Partner and Marketing Responsible of Phi-Unet (ESA) e Simone Ferrara, Senior Vice President,Technology and IP Strategy.

During the ceremony the programme of activities 2020 has been also presented by the Talented Italians in the UK Association (TIA). After the success of its first publication “Italian immigration to the UK: Curse or Opportunity?”, the TIA aims to implement projects to continue to enhance the Italian community in the UK and strengthen the link between our two Countries.

The gala dinner, as tradition, will hosted the historic Keynes Sraffa Award dedicated to celebrating the Italian entrepreneurial talent. This year, in line with the topic of the 41st Annual Conference of the Chamber, the Keynes Sraffa Awards ceremony has been focus on the topic “Energy & the Environment: Circular Economy”. The prestigious award has been given, in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo, to three virtuous business cases that work in the environmental sustainability and that represent an excellent example of a “green” business.
