Nutrition and health are key drivers for growth in the UK food and drink sector, currently worth £95.4bn. Food Matters Live is an annual event, focusing on the connections between food, drink, health and nutrition. The second edition will take place from 17th to 19th November 2015 at ExCeL, London.
The first edition of the event attracted more than 200 exhibitors and 7,200 professionals from the fields of food and drink production, retail, research, nutrition, public health and policy. PepsiCo, Coca-Cola Great Britain, Kellogg Group, Unilever, Warburtons, Wholebake Limited 9bar, Nestlé, Tesco Food Academy were among the leading manufacturers to showcase their healthier food concepts and product reformulations to the UK’s leading retailers.
The event’s main attractions were the Food Matters Live conference and seminars, which provided visitors with excellent learning opportunities through an impressive free education programme. Over 100 unique sessions featuring 420 speakers over the three days attracted a wide and influential audience from across the food, health and nutrition industries.
