The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK is pleased to announce its participation at the “Med Lab Turismo” workshop organised by Mediterraneo Lab.

 

What is Met Lab Turismo?

Met Lab Turismo is an innovative interaction model, conceived at first for tourism sector operators from the Amalfi Coast and Salerno Province, with the hope of becoming a regional strategy for the development of “Made in Campania” tourism.

 

Who is it aimed at?

–       Hotels, B&Bs, tour operators, etc.

–       Professionals working within the tourist sector

–       Graduates and undergraduates in the tourist industry

–       Organisations and associations promoting local business and tourism

–       Media (journalists, tourist industry magazines, communication experts)

 

Objectives

Creation of an Innovation Hub for Sustainable Tourism (H.I.T.S.) for strategic urban planning, local marketing and professional training. Tourism intended as a combined territorial offer including local services and products (food, fashion, typical craftsmanship).

 

Why go?

To share national and international best practices for creating innovative and sustainable destinations with project stakeholders (enterprises, banks, institutions, tour operators, universities).

 

During the event, ICCIUK will present the characteristics of the UK market as well as the Chamber’s various activities intended to promote Italy, with the aim of assisting stakeholders in the internationalisation of this project.
