ICCIUK Italian Entrepreneurial delegation to the IBF 2018

ICCIUK Italian Entrepreneurial delegation to the IBF 2018

The International Business Festival will take place from the 12th to the 28th of June 2018 and the ICCIUK has the pleasure to participate on Thursday 14th of June 2018 with an Italian business delegation composed by five Italian companies: YourData, Phaenomena, Teknosolar, Lighting, and Niteko. Almost every Italian company part of the delegation deal with an outstanding Italian market: the lighting sector.

Hosted every two years in Liverpool, one of the UK’s most vibrant and exciting cities, the International Business Festival has attracted more than 30,000 attendees and enabled over £600 million in trade and investment since it began in 2014. The companies will have access to the space, support and expertise they need to take their next step whether that’s scaling up, meeting global buyers or exploring new export markets.

Held over nine days across three weeks, the 2018 event will be the biggest of its kind, bringing together influencers, innovators and industry leaders from across the globe to connect and share knowledge.

The Italian companies are all related to the lighting sector and all of them are deeply interested in the opportunities offered in the 2018 International Business Festival especially concerning the sustainable energies. Indeed, the Italian delegation will be present at the Festival on the 14th of June, day on which the future and the challenges of sustainable energy will be discussed and analysed by experts.
Moreover, as Mirella Guerra, Italian engineer and lighting consultant, explains: “until now, whoever was in charge of lighting management focused primarily on energy saving. It’s around this premise that the public lighting policy in Italy took shape in recent years and adaptive lighting has become reality thanks to the potentiality of LED lighting fixtures”.

About the five Italian companies, you can find more details and some of their main project here below:

In 2016 Niteko presented the compact modular LED floodlight, the most powerful in the international scene with its 1.200W, during the Light + Building trade fair in Frankfurt and in 2015 the company joined the top 100 “STARTUPITALIA” and won the Castrum Minervae prize.

Lighting is specialized in the production of aluminium equipment for public and private lighting

The Teknisolar team is an experienced team of professionals with over 170 years of cumulated experience in the manufacturing of glass lamination equipment and our lamination solutions have been developed in association with leading world experts and university professors in fluid dynamics and heat transfer.

Phaenomena’s company philosophy is the one that has made the success of Made in Italy in the world: high quality products, great reliability and maximum care for customer relations. Over the years it has established partnerships with numerous industrial companies, providing its clients with a consulting and assistance service of recognized professionalism.
